Paws to Rest offer both a discreet and dignified private and professional cremation & burial service.

Your pet’s ashes can be either scattered in our Garden of Remembrance, or you may wish to scatter them yourself in your own garden or on a favourite walk.
Whatever the case, we guarantee the ashes returned to you are those of your pet and will be placed in an urn, or casket of your own choice.
A telephone call from you or your vet is all that is needed. We will then discuss and make the necessary arrangements to collect your pet from your vet or from your home.
We do have reception facilities. Should you wish, you may bring your pet to our “Kennel of Rest,” to spend a few moments on final farewell.

Pet Bereavement - Did you know?
You personally can bring your loved one to our cemetery & crematorium. It does not have to be left at the vets. You can bring it in it’s own bed. No need for bags. We can discreetly collect your pet from home, or vets, as close to the sad time as possible.
We have a “Farewell Room” where owners can say their last good-bye’s.
At the final hour vets will come to your home. How much nicer for your pet to slip away in familiar surroundings. Owners can view any aspect of the cremation & burial process, should they so desire.
We can offer a same day cremation service. Why be parted for any longer than necessary.
Burials take place in our secluded nature cemetery overlooking the tranquil Eden valley. Visits, so important in the early days of loss, are welcomed.
Exhumation followed by cremation or reburial can be arranged for pets buried in your garden when you want to move.
We have a tremendous selection of pet oriented caskets, ash containers, coffins and memorials. If we haven’t got it in stock, we’ll get it for you!
All this right on your doorstep! We are just a few minutes off the A6. Why let your pet be transported miles away!
Be aware that there are disposal firms operating whose service may not suit your requirements. Make sure you know where your pet is going and how it is being handled.
We are members of the “Association of Private Pet Cemeteries & Crematoria”. The only regulatory body for the industry in the UK. We operate to a Code of Conduct. We do not deal with fallen stock. Nor do we incinerate clinical waste.
We are part of a group of well established pet friendly services including Paws to Splash, a swimming pool & hydrotherapy service for dogs.
